Project Overview
In Playa Vista, Calif., Wallis Annenberg PetSpace is a community space that focuses on pet adoption, education and the bond between people and their pets. The PetSpace facility was designed to foster interaction and includes display technologies from Planar to engage and educate visitors.
In the lobby, a 12-foot-long, 9-foot-high Clarity® Matrix® MultiTouch LCD Video Wall System invites guests to learn about the animals that are available for adoption through a storytelling experience. Down a hall is a gallery where six Planar® PS Series 55-inch multi-touch LCD displays showcase stories about the human-animal bond. In an auditorium, two Planar® UltraRes™ Series 98-inch 4K LCD displays provide presentation tools. Two more Planar UltraRes Series 98-inch 4K LCD displays in socialization areas on the second floor are used to support teaching seasons and highlight information.
